My Story

Hi, my name is Lauren Zycband and I was born and raised in Brick, New Jersey. I'm currently a freshman at High Point University majoring in media production. I have been doing pageants since I was 9 years old where I have learned to develop leadership, communication, interview, and public speaking skills. I am currently the title holder for International United Miss New Jersey Teen. For the university, I film the marching band and sports team as well as volunteer and promote my platform, Lauren's Lunches, where I make and distribute lunches to those in need. I'm also involved with various clubs on campus, including, HPU Vision, Hillel, Circle K, etc. This past fall I had the opportunity to go to Cine Gear Expo in Georgia and meet a whole bunch of filming/lighting companies and even got to test the antigravity cam. I even got to go on a private jet to Stanford University to film at the NCAA second-round tournament for men's soccer. Within my first year of college, I've traveled to 15 states and i'm not done yet!
